the way of the future

Ok, to catch everyone up...

I got back from Cannes, spent a couple restless weeks in Georgia, and decided the day before my friend Cassio's wedding that I'd make the trek to be there for him and his bride. So i get my tickets for San Francisco, but the catch is the only return ticket is for 3 weeks later. so i take it anyway. I spent that night drinking american beers with Brazilians in an Irish pub( that served Indian food) in North Beach (an Italian neighborhood). From there the wedding was a blast...hung out in san francisco for a few days and loved every minute. rented a car and drove to Bakersfield. Spent some time with my dear friend Kindra and blasted off in their van for dreadful LA. it reminded me of why i left in the first place. but i did see some friends and shoot some interview footage for my documentary. so i make it back to bakersfield for July 4th and nearly get my eye knocked out of my skull by a homonally crazed 13 yr old girl in a swimming pool. it swells up real huge like. i rent a disgusting teal economy car to take back to san francisco. i go clothes shopping with my buddy Matt, eat lots of good food, indulge myself a bit, take a day trip to Napa Valley and get drunk off wine, go to sausalito to track down harry partch's old studio, and make it to the airport just in time to chain smoke for a half an hour before i fly out.

now i ve been back for about 5 days...i m in Athens, Georgia now turtle sitting Sampsun (pictured below). Thinking about heading to Italy for a month...thinking about
